“Root Bench” – woodworking meets art and architecture

Robert Dalheim & Woodworking Network offer a nice insight into Korean architect Yong Ju Lee’s latest project: Root Bench.

“Intended to look like the roots of an enormous tree, the 100-foot long piece of furniture features dips and rises throughout – allowing park-goers to sit, lean, or lie wherever they wish.”

“Yong Ju Lee’s Root Bench show us the dynamic tie between craft and art.”
